Robert C. Bosack, DDS

Dr. Robert Bosack  graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1974 and received his DDS from Loyola University School of Dentistry, magna cum laude. He received his advanced training at the Cook County Hospital, where he gained vast surgical experience. He has been practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery since 1982, with current emphasis on anesthesia and dental implant technology. Dr. Bosack is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and has served as board examiner in the past.

With over 40 years of experience in this community, the number of satisfied patients is ever-expanding. He is currently on staff at Advocate Christ Medical Center and University of Chicago Surgicenter in Tinley Park. He is a member in good standing in all pertinent organizations at the city, state and national levels.

In addition to his full-time private practice, Dr. Bosack is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.  He lectures to his peers at  local, state and national levels on topics related to surgery, anesthesia and medicine. He is a licensed provider of continuing education in the State of Illinois. He has authored and edited numerous articles and textbooks, including the highly acclaimed reference text entitled Anesthesia Complications in the Dental Office, published by Wiley Blackwell.

He is the 2023 recipient of the Heidbrink award, the highest honor from the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, an organization where he serves as treasurer.  

He is the originator and executive director of Dental Anesthesia Online, a website dedicated to education in the area of sedation and anesthesia.  Access at www.daoce.org.
