Anesthetic medications take ~ 24 hours to wear off completely. During this time, do not attempt to drive a car or operate any hazardous machinery. Please understand that narcotic pain pills (Tylenol #3 or Vicoden) can also make you groggy. If you experience prolonged grogginess, we suggest a monitored nap in an “easy chair” with legs elevated.
